August 29 games are at alternate fields
Due to the Dragons youth tournament taking place on August 29th we have to play our games at alternate grounds. Please check your schedule carefully and make sure you know where to go on Saturday morning. If you are unsure of the location of your designated pitch there are map links on the fields page (or on the old website, still operational also, at the bottom of the schedules page.) It is possible Barrington and Carriere will not have nets installed, as the Dragons may remove those after their last game there earlier in the week. If so, we'll have to put up our own before the match and take them down again after. Please assist your manager with this task. Cold beer at the pub after the games, as usual.
Note: The Blackburn Arms Soccer League is for men 25+ years of age (18+ in the case of goalkeepers) Outdoor games are played Saturdays at 10 a.m. until noon. Most games are played at the Potvin fields. All players are ranked on their skill level and distributed as equally as possible between all six teams. If you are under age 25 please see http://www.dragonsoccer.ca/

AGM '09 minutes
BA Soccer warmly welcomes Ray Martel onto the league executive as our new vice-president. Profound thanks to you, Mike Murphy, for your unfailing dedication and commitment towards the smoothe functioning of the league over the past decade, and happy retirement from the countless admin and other functions you so faithfully and capably performed. Steve Cock remains on as president, Paul Stanisci as treasurer, and Dave Knibbs as director of discipline procedures.
